By 2020, hybrid and electric cars should contain lithium air batteries. A battery pack based on the lithium air combination will give the car a action radius of 500 miles. This could very well give the electric car industry the anticipated boost. Current lithium batteries can power electric cars for around 200 miles max, which is far less than the traditional combustion engine.
